About Bill
Bill was born at Camp LeJeune, N.C. in 1944. He has lived in southwestern Pennsylvania most of his life. He graduated from Har-Brack High School in 1963 and from A.T.I. in Pittsburgh with a degree in Aerospace Electronics. He was employed by Westinghouse Aerospace in Baltimore, MD, working on Aerospace and space projects for the U.S. Government. He retired from ATI/Allegheny Ludlum Steel in the industrial/electrical field in 2002. He has been married for over 54 years to his wife Linda and has two children and four grandchildren.
Bill has had a lifetime interest in literature and writing and has published several pieces of poetry and the first three books in the Clive Aliston Mystery Series. He recently finished a book of short stories called "Whispers, Echoes and Wisps of the Wind". His wife Linda is his business manager and as he says his toughest critic. I am presently working on the next book in the series "LADY LETHAL".
Bill is a past member of Toastmasters International and past President of the Aspinwall Toastmasters. He has achieved status of Competent Communicator and leader and has attained the Competent Communicator Bronze Award. Bill is available for book clubs, book signings, speaking engagements and has worked with schools and colleges on workshops. He and his wife Linda are originators and coordinators of "A Gathering of Authors," a growing, talented and diverse group of authors of all genres. "A Gathering of Authors" is available for public appearances throughout the year.
